Tonight, we bid farewell to 2024 while looking forward with hope and expectation to 2025. My prayer is that the new year will usher in brighter days filled with actions that lead each of us to a more fulfilled life that not only brings us happiness but also enables our pride. Every individual holds the responsibility to seek and work towards this better life.
I am fully confident there will be influences outside of our own actions that will help us along the path to positive change. The inauguration of President Trump will set the tone for a national rejuvenation, a healing of wide wounds, and a true unification of purpose for our country. Nothing will be achieved overnight but I know progress will begin quickly and momentum will be fueled and maintained by the positive results. How can I say I “know” this? Look and listen to what is already occurring. Many who stood steadfastly on the far-left side for the past 4 years are reevaluating their stance, acknowledging the errors of the current administration, and listening, really listening to the needs of our citizens. There is a rhythm of joy spreading with renewed hope and expectations of positive change. People from all religions, all races, both sexes, varying ages, all social economic groups and a variety of other differences, differences previously exploited to divide us, are speaking in one voice to many issues. Social media platforms have proven to be of value by providing an avenue for all of us to witness these phenomena, particularly at a time when the vast majority feel we cannot trust mainstream media to be honest and unbiased. It is everyday people like you and I who are reaching out and bridging the divide and finding so much more to unite us. We can use these movements to inspire our personal life and charge our productive efforts.
2025 will be in some ways a refresh for our country. Bringing us back to solid values of law and order, family matters, fiscal responsibility, secure borders, smaller government and in God we trust! We can use this stimulus to further inspire our personal life and charge our productive efforts.
